Loara graduated from USC with a Masters of Arts in Occupational Therapy in 2006. She started my career in Early Intervention, but most of her experience has been the acute rehabilitation setting, working with adults with neurological injuries, such as Stroke, TBI and SCI. She also spent a couple years working in the acute psychiatric setting. In 2007, she took her first Level I Hippotherapy course, while involved in a therapeutic riding program. Fast forward 8 years and she took the course again at Leaps & Bounds with the intention of absolutely making this dream come true this time around! She also began working in Early Intervention again and was actually a consumer as her youngest children were receiving services. Her free time is gobbled up by her four little monsters, a 7-year-old super girl, and 2-year-old triplets, my dog and 2 cats, my foster dog, and last on the totem pole is the hubs ;). When the stars align, she enjoys going for a horseback ride, eating delicious food in the San Gabriel Valley or Koreatown, and taking her foster dog for training courses.
