Jennifer Landry OTR/L

Therapy Department Manager
Occupational Therapist

Jennifer Landry graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Occupational therapy in 2001. She has practiced occupational therapy in the areas of pediatrics, outpatient rehabilitation, neurology, feeding, sensory integration, with the school system, and hippotherapy.

When joining Leaps and bounds, Jennifer was very interested about hippotherapy and has since completed the American Hippotherapy Associations’ level one training. Jennifer also has training in Handwriting without Tears, The Alert Program, NDT, and with Kinesiotherapy.

Jennifer loves her job and is always interested in furthering her education to provide service for children.

Jennifer has completed the American Hippotherapy Association Level 1,  Neuro Connections, and Core Connections training.

Kayla Gillespie OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Kayla graduated from the University of Southern California with her Master’s in Occupational Therapy. She has experience in inpatient rehabilitation, pediatrics, school based therapy, and Hippotherapy. She is a member of the California Board of Occupational Therapy Association and the American Hippotherapy Association. Kayla has completed the American Hippotherapy Association’s level I and II training as well as The Sensory Connection Course. She looks forward to continuing education in the multiple areas of pediatric therapy in order to grow and develop her skill set further.

Kayla enjoys working with children and has been a part of the Leaps & Bounds family since March 2014. Kayla loves spending time with her husband, two boys, and three dogs.

Kayla has completed the American Hippotherapy Association Level 1,  Level 2, and Sensory Connection training.

Erin Monise OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Erin received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from La Sierra University in 2015. She went on to earn her Master’s in Occupational Therapy from The University of St. Augustine in 2018. She is now in the home stretch for her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy, and is emphasizing in Pediatric Neurology. She is expected to graduate with her Doctorate in December 2019. Erin completed one of her Level II internships with us in 2018 and is now back with us working as an Occupational therapist on the ranch every Saturday. During the week, Erin works full-time at a pediatric feeding specialty clinic in Temecula. Erin has received continuing education in myofascial release, play development, anxiety & picky eating, Astronaut Program, and Neurodevelopmental treatment. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and California Board of Occupational Therapy Association. She is passionate about working with families to create home exercise program that work for them and their child.

During her free time, she loves kayaking, swimming, painting, and playing board games with her family.

Erin Johnson

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Erin Johnson graduated from Cal State University Dominguez Hills in 2015 with a Bachelors degree in Communications.  After a tenure as a pharmaceutical representative Erin went back to school and received an Associates of Occupational Science: Occupational Therapy Assistant degree from American Career College where she was recognized as valedictorian of her graduating class.  Erin has a passion for working with children and is excited to be a part of the Leaps and Bounds team.  Outside of work Erin enjoys spending time with family, camping, and hiking with her finance and Goldendoodle Penny. 

Teri Artega

Beyah

Service Dog (In Training)

Beyah has been training as a service dog for two years. She is loving, caring, and great with all the patients here at Leaps. When Beyah is not at Leaps, she loves taking long naps and going for walks.

Tiffany Le

Occupational Therapy Aide

Tiffany Le graduated from the University of California, Davis in June 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She started volunteering at Leaps & Bounds immediately after graduation, where she had found her passion in working with children with special needs. Tiffany hopes to become an occupational therapist herself after being inspired by the therapists at Leaps with their mentorship and support. In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys road trips along the west coast and hiking in national parks.

Leanne Gutierrez

Occupational Therapy Aide

Leanne graduated with a BA in Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino in June 2015. As an undergraduate, she worked as a research assistant and volunteered at various OT settings (pediatrics, hand therapy, skilled nursing home). Leanne started volunteering at Leaps in 2013 and this is where she found her love for working with children with special needs. She also currently works as a behavior interventionist and is applying to MSOT programs. Leanne hopes to become an occupational therapist working in the schools. In her spare time, she loves hiking, camping, snowboarding, and baking.
