Leaps & Bounds Pediatric Therapy, Inc. and Friends of Leaps & Bounds (together, 'Leaps & Bounds,' 'we,' 'our,' or 'us') respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at leapsandboundspediatrictherapy.org (the 'Site'), how we use that information, and the choices you have.

This policy applies to the website only. It does not cover the protected health information (PHI) we collect during treatment, which is governed by the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and described in our separate Notice of Privacy Practices.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you fill out a form on our Site, send us an email, sign up for our newsletter, donate, or apply for a job, you may give us:

•     Your name and contact information (email, phone, mailing address)

•     Information about your child or family if you are inquiring about therapy services

•     Information about your professional background if you are referring a patient or applying for a job

•     Donation information processed through our third-party donation platform

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and analytics tools automatically collect certain technical information, including:

•     Raintree (patient portal): you will be redirected to a secure Raintree platform when you schedule an appointment

•     Paylocity (job applications): you will be redirected to Paylocity to complete an application

•     YouTube (embedded video): videos on our Site are hosted on YouTube, which may set its own cookies

Donor Privacy

Friends of Leaps & Bounds takes donor privacy seriously. When you donate to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit:

•     Your billing information is processed securely through Givebutter and is never stored on our Site

•     We do not sell, rent, or share donor names, contact information, or giving history with other organizations

•     We may publicly recognize donors by name in donor lists, event materials, or annual reports unless you request to give anonymously

•     You may request anonymous giving or removal from recognition lists by contacting us

Job Applicants

Information you provide when applying for a position is used only for the hiring process. Applications submitted through Paylocity are governed by both this Privacy Policy and Paylocity's privacy practices. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect the information we collect. Our Site uses HTTPS encryption. Sensitive transactions, such as donations, are handled by third-party providers that maintain their own security standards. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Our Site is intended for parents, caregivers, healthcare professionals, donors, and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us through the Site, please contact us and we will delete it promptly. Information about children collected during the course of clinical care is governed by HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this policy.

Your Rights

California residents. Under California law, you may have the right to:

•     Know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it

•     Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you

•     Request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions

•     Opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell or share for advertising purposes)

•     Not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the 'Effective Date' at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on our Site. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
